What is The PetsOnMe Protection System?
The PetsOnMe Protection System is a breeder partner program for registered breeders who want every puppy or kitten to leave for their new home with cover already in place. You submit the pet’s details and the new owner’s information through the Breeder Portal, we arrange the policy and email the Certificate of Insurance, and the new owner receives a simple path to continue their cover after the free period. You’ll also have support from a dedicated breeder team along the way.

But early accidents and illnesses can happen fast, and one unexpected vet bill can turn excitement into stress for a new owner. The PetsOnMe Protection System helps remove that pressure by putting cover in place before or at handover. It protects the new family, supports your reputation, and makes the transition to ownership feel more thoughtful and professional.
Cover can be arranged from 6 weeks of age, helping puppies and kittens leave for their new homes with protection already in place.
We issue the Certificate of Insurance so you can provide clear proof of cover on pick-up day.
Submit the pet and owner details through the Breeder Portal and we take care of the rest.
If the new owner continues after the free period, you receive a referral incentive automatically.
Step 1 — Join as a breeder partner
Register for free and get access to the Breeder Portal, plus support from our team.
Step 2 — Register each puppy or kitten from 6 weeks
Submit the breed, date of birth, and new owner’s details so we can arrange cover before handover.
Step 3 — We activate cover and support the handover
We email the Certificate of Insurance to you and the new owner, and if the policy continues after the free period, your referral incentive is paid automatically.

Yes. A policy can be created before sale as long as the pet is at least 6 weeks old. It can remain under the breeder’s name until it is transferred to the new owner.
Once the policy is created, both the breeder and the new owner receive a Certificate of Insurance by email.
No. Customers can continue, change plans, or cancel at any time.
If the customer continues after the free period, the breeder receives a referral incentive automatically.
